DL380 G7 issues with VMware ESXi 6.5
Looks like there are issues when trying to install/upgrade VMware ESXi 6.5 when you have 15k 300GB SCSI drives installed.
I was able to test this by removing all drives and verifying the system could successfully boot and get into the ESXi console login screen when the server only had the internal SD card mounted and all of the hard drives removed. I put the older hard drives I previously used back into the server and rebooted it, successfully getting to the ESXi login screen once again. I added the 15k 300GB SCSI drives to the server at this point but it would fail to load past a certain point during the ESXi bootup process.
